Open Studios / Artweeks May 2021
This exhibit is now closed and was Open to the public May 15th-23rd; but we will leave the pictures from the event here for you to enjoy.
During Artweeks visitors discovered the artists, their processes and works in progress, at our former Rectory and multi-disciplinary artists studios.
As well as practicing, experimenting and researching in their various fields, our artists sell work nationally and internationally, provide services, teach and take commissions.
Taking part in our Open studios were Karen Goonewardene, Magda Kozarzewska, Aniko Dioszegi, Emma Souter, Kate Pullan, Juliet Goodman, Yolande Nye, Kristina Paxton, Ge-Workshop, Tim Steward, Claire Howlett, Aimee Payton, Emily Cox, Cracktpot Jo, and Laura Murphy.
Studio disciplines range from ceramics, painting, drawing, sculpture, performance, video, sound, installation, mosaics, photography, dance, print, textiles, upholstery, conservation and writing. So there was much to be seen by the public on their visit.
We were able to safely open to the public despite Covid; thanks to a one way system, a well ventilated exhibition and education room, an outdoor area and an online booking system.
As well as opening physically we shared what was going on during artweeks through instagram @ayreshousestudios.
We are looking forward to Opening up again at the end of November/December for our Christmas Opening and taking part in Artweeks again next year.
In the meantime you can visit by making an appointment.
