Build your own jug with handle.

Join us to discover and experience the hand-building ceramic-making process with the Ge workshop at the Ayres House Studios in Wallingford.

The two sessions workshop is a comprehensive course aimed at those who wish to have a hands-on clay experience. In this workshop participants will make their own unique creations using the slab-making ceramic technique. You will learn to prepare clay, create slip, roll a slab, create handles, decorate and glaze your creations!

The classes are designed for you to come along and have a lovely time in a relaxed, creative, friendly space. People of all abilities are welcome to join, though this class is aimed at developing beginner’s skills, we will tailor to everyone’s capabilities. These sessions are held in the Education Room at the Ayres House Studios, where we like to create a comfortable, fun and safe environment.

The cost of the 2 sessions course is £90, which includes the cost of materials and firings.

Sunday 4 + Sunday 11 July  9 AM-12 PM  with 0.5 hour for a coffee break:  Large Jug with handle.(Also available, Sunday 6 + Sunday 13 June 12 PM-3 PM with 0.5 hour for lunch:  Set of Mugs with handles).
