Learn the ancient art of wax carving for jewellery and create your very own bespoke ring in sterling silver or gold. In this meditative artform you will explore mindfulness through creativity in a relaxing space where anything is possible.
Explore the world of wax carving and make something personal in the form of a wearable talisman or charm. In this 3-hour workshop you'll have the opportunity to experiment with both soft jewellers wax and hard jewellers wax using various methods of sculpting, carving and melting.
The Ayres House Associate Artists’ annual group exhibition, ‘Associations,’ opens on 29th August at Ayres House Studios, showcasing diverse contemporary craft and art by local artists who regularly collaborate and support each other in the studio. The exhibition also features drop-in workshops on 30th–31st August during Wallingford’s BunkFest, including Creative Mask Making, Clay Play, and a collaborative mural.

Whether you’re channeling a shimmering fox, a glittery dragon, or a mysterious forest spirit, let your imagination lead the way.
