Amy is a painter who primarily uses acrylics to paint abstract floral pieces.

After completing a degree in Graphic Design (with a focus on illustration), Amy spent 10 years working in marketing before swapping her office desk for a home studio in central Wallingford.

“I love using bright and bold colours and marks in my work. When I paint I follow a general rule of ‘considered not controlled’ which gives me the freedom to paint my chosen subject matter with a happy balance of intent and spontaneity.”

When Amy is not painting she can be found crocheting for her craft business, designing amigurumi patterns and experimenting with ways to incorporate embroidery into her artwork.
