adapt day 2 / 'A table for one' by gé_workshop

'A table for one' by gé_workshop is now installed in the gallery, ready to open to the public on Wednesday (The day the UK goes back to the tier system).

It is an installation of functional ceramic vessels, reflecting upon the new rules of life in isolation during the pandemic. Meal-sharing is one of the most important manifestations and celebrations of society in all cultures. The act of eating together demonstrates the power of a meal to forge relationships and confirms our sense of belonging to a community. In our new covid-altered reality, for many people meal-sharing has become temporarily unavailable. This is a 'celebration' in isolation.

You can see this and the rest on the exhibit at the studios from the 2nd between 10.30am and 4.30pm daily until the 6th. You can book a timeslot online and parking is available from Wednesday to Saturday on site. You can view work online at our exhibition page
